Karen Thomson is the founder of the Sugar Free Revolution, an online program and blog that aims to provide support and guidance for individuals looking to break free from sugar and carbohydrate addiction. 

As a recovering cocaine and sugar addict herself, Karen understands the challenges of addiction and the importance of having a support network. She believes that addiction is a disease that is best tackled with the help of others. To ensure that the Sugar Free Revolution offers comprehensive support, Karen has assembled a team of addiction specialists, counselors, and a registered dietician. Together, they provide a diverse range of expertise and personal experiences to help participants on their journey to freedom from addiction. 

Karen has also written a book titled “Sugar Free: 8 Weeks to Freedom from Sugar and Carb Addiction” and has hosted The First International LCHF Health Summit with Professor Tim Noakes.

Gary Menkes was born and raised in Port Washington, NY and struggled with alcoholism since his early teens which took him to places he never wants to go again and which took a toll on his health, relationships and professional endeavors. However, Gary completely transformed his life when he was given the gift of sobriety on May 13, 2006. Determined to break free from the cycle of self-destruction, he embarked on a remarkable journey of recovery.

Today, Gary is an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous in New York, married to the love of his life and father of two amazing children of which he owes all to his sobriety. Gary is now launching his own podcast, The Begin Again Podcast.
